12 Things on Sale You’ll Actually Want to Buy: From Coleman to Theory

Yesterday, Amazon announced dates for Prime Day and teased a few early savings that piqued our interest. You can find all of our favorite early Prime Day deals here, but I’ve dropped a few more picks below. Rounding out the rest of today’s discounts are a sitewide sale at Youth to the People, Coleman camping gear, and a few home-décor steals from Urban Outfitters.

The best early Prime Day savings are primarily on kids’ tech, of all things, like the latest iteration of the Echo Dot, which is on sale for just $28.

A lot of products from Amazon’s in-house Basics line are also on sale. For those traveling with a pet in the near future, this soft-sided travel carrier is 22 percent off (and is a pretty good dupe of our best overall pet carrier).

$19 for 100

Don’t forget to stash a few pee pads, just in case. These work for cats, too.

Since Instant Brands filed for bankruptcy last week, we’ve been keeping an eye out for deals on its much-beloved products. Looks like the inventory clean out is beginning, because I spotted an air fryer from its Vortex line (complete with a skewer set, cooking rack, grill pan, and cooking tray) for $40 off.

Coleman’s Sundome is our best two-person tent for car camping. The bright-green shade (pictured above) is just $38 on the brand’s website with the code BONUS; at Amazon, you can snag a darker green for $52 or a navy blue for $55.

And here’s a lightweight camping stove for when you need to pack light.

Everything at Youth to the People is 25 percent off through Monday night. The brand’s gel cleanser is our top pick for oily, acne-prone skin: One dermatologist we spoke to said it will “boost moisture in the skin and provide anti-inflammatory protection” but won’t “leave the skin dry or tight.”

Apply this treatment mask overnight whenever your skin is looking particularly dull or feeling extra tight and dry. It’s formulated with THD (a gentle, fatty vitamin C) for brightening, squalane for hydration, and hyaluronic acid for moisture.

For a mid-afternoon face misting — that apparently can penetrate makeup without disturbing it — try this nonirritating, adaptogen-infused formula.

Over at Urban Outfitters, summer styles are up to 50 percent off for a limited time. There are a lot of clothes to sift through, but I’m obsessed with these checkerboard coasters from the home section.

Display your latest farmers’ market haul in this sculptural fruit bowl, which comes in green, cream, and rust.

Theory is offering up to 60 percent off for its end-of-season sale. Here’s a drapey, slightly ruched top that’s a step above the basic white tee.

The Strategist is designed to surface the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Some of our latest conquests include the best acne treatments, rolling luggage, pillows for side sleepers, natural anxiety remedies, and bath towels. We update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.
